I am used to booking hotel nights and looking at the cruise rates - they are priced by the per night rate for seven nights and this would be the cost per person based on double occupancy - is this a new way to see the value of a unique cruise like this?
Yes, just like a luxury hotel, your stateroom accommodations on the Oosterdam will serve as your hotel (view based on your choice of stateroom). This cruise is a better value than a hotel stay because the cost per night, per person includes your accommodations, your meals, your entertainment, your access to the private Celebrate Life & Survivorship activities. And remember, the Oosterdam will be your sailing transportation from San Diego to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas ~ no airplanes, packing and unpacking... just your floating luxury ship!

What kind of private events are held on this Celebrate Life & Survivorship Cruise?
This cruise is escorted with three group concierge hosts onboard. We have special events planned including a session with a guest speaker plus a private fine dining celebration. There will plenty of time to enjoy new and old friends on this week long cruise. Special amenities will also be extended to our group.
What is not included in the cruise cost?
Port taxes of $88.59 per person is not included. Additional costs on the cruise can include tips, shore excursions, specialty beverages including bar drinks, spa services, gaming and onboard shop purchases. Please note that currently cruise lines have suspended fuel supplement fees but Holland America, like the other cruise lines, reserves the right to reinstate.
Do you suggest that we come in one day early to San Diego prior to the cruise?
We highly suggest that you come in at least one day prior to any cruise. This helps eliminate the possibility of flight delays or cancelations that may cause you to miss your cruise. Plus, why start out your vacation stressed out when you can arrive at least a day early and relax and enjoy San Diego. We will have a block of rooms at a hotel with transportation to the pier pre-arranged for those interested in booking a pre-cruise package.

Mission Statement for The NMCC Foundation is dedicated to supporting patient's non-medical needs during their battle against cancer. We establish assistance and educational programs to meet the financial, emotional and psychological needs of patients.
